The handle of the tote bag is made with Super Static ropes for mountain climbing, which is much lighter and durable than normal rope. The design of the handle allows the bag to transform to be used in different ways. The length of the handle could be changed by a simple flip, the shorter side allows you to hold the bag closer to yourself, which is more convenient for those who prefer to carry it in their hand. For others who prefer to carry the bag on their shoulder, the longer side of the handle would fit.
Material creates variation
Raw materials come in different sizes, most of the time, not all of the material could be used because there is a gap between the production of the material and the design. To minimize the waste produced for a design, could we adjust the proportion/ size of the design to the size of the raw material?
Fabrics that are left from production are now used to make the holdall bags. The size/ material/ color of these fabrics vary which creates a variety of bags in terms of proportion/ material/ color. We try to use the similar amount of fabric for each bag and that’s why the proportion changes.
